E-Book Challenge 2010

I might just go with the obsessed  Level since I do read a lot of e-books, looks like a fun challenge for 2010.

This challenges was previously hosted by J. Kaye's Book Blog. When J. Kaye kindly offered to let Royal Reviews take over running this host we were very excited.

A couple of the Royal Reviewers myself included do not live in the US. We live in Australia and E-Book Readers are not easily available, so it was a very exciting day when we discovered that Kindle has been released for the Australian market. So are very exciting that we can participate in the E-Book Challenge.

Challenge Guidelines:
1. Anyone can join. You don't need a blog to participate.
--Non-Bloggers: Include your information in the comment section.

2. There are four levels:

-- Curious – Read 3 E-Books.

-- Fascinated – Read 6 E-Books.

-- Addicted – Read 12 E-Books.

-- Obsessed – Read 20 E-Books.

3. Any genre counts.

4. You can list your books in advance or just put them in a wrap up post. If you list them, feel free to change them as the mood takes you.

5. Challenge begins January 1st thru December, 2010. Only books started on January 1st count towards this challenge.

This one Challenge I've got to do!!! I have lots of books just Waiting to be READ :)


For 2010, I am planning to continue with the RYOB (Read Your Own Books) challenge! The rules are simple:

• Pick a number of books you’d like to read in one year
• Choose those books from your OWN collection
• Read them between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010

And, that’s it!
Some other guidelines for this challenge:

• Re-Reads are NOT allowed (the challenge is to get more of your own books read that have been sitting there waiting!)
• Audiobooks & e-books ARE allowed
• You do NOT need a blog to participate — you can leave comments on this post with your progress

Goin' thru my TBR

I've Got 2 books shelves full of books that I haven't read, trying to make Less and Less from aug. to sept (today) I've read 9 books that is pretty good I think going to be taking them to my cousin who has nothing to read she is waiting for me to bring her some of the finished ones. Might take her some of the TBR's Then we can just Switch them out her read for my read, probably get thru them faster.

Reading

So far I haven't been reading like I want to.I've been to preoccupied with other things like family. Have my 7 Year old niece visiting from Texas. She will be leaving soon so my free time's been with her spending as much time as we can together before she leaves. Which Will be in about one week.Oh My is it already time for her to leave. Don't want her to but she has to go to school.
maybe my reading more will get back to normal when she leaves, most likely will, read 1 book so far fixin' to finish 2 more so happy about that Yay!!!!

9 IN A ROW

I am on a READING FRENZY!! I'm so excited haven't read that much in quite awhile. 9 books in a row, most have been older books but I have liked each one still have Plenty of more to keep me busy all SUMMER!!
Haven't started a new one as of yet but still reading that ARC for another Blog getting super close to finishing it and writing up my review, off to read some more. I'm So Happy!!

Reviewing!!

I have  just started to review books haven't done one as of yet.

 I'm getting there though Just got a ARC to review going great as far as actually reading it.

I've got tons and tons of books to read will do a review of them as I finish reading them and post how I liked it and if I recommend it or not.

Most of them I do recommend  because I share all my books with my cousin who is a avid reader like myself.  If she is willing she can add her own review's of the books we both read for different view point of  each of the books. I do Like to read more of  Western Romance and Regency's , she likes more Contemporary Romances and Chic Lit.

I've been reading like crazy and yet only finished 4 books but i am reading 9 books a mix of everything 2 I've been reading for like months and months I am going to finish them for SURE!!

Little Pyro

My nephew almost started my house on fire today!!!
I left a candle burning in a room and he got some paper and started to burn it
luckily we got it in time still really pissed off about that though

I know I won't leave any Candles around lit anymore while they are here not to bad but burned all the same White stuff is the paper he got a hold of !!!

Planter Box

My mom has a Green thumb so today my brother built this Planter box out of some old wood that was being thrown away.
She planted some tomato plants not sure what else she is gonna plant but she's happy about that planter box she has been wanting to plant a garden but we can't dig in the yard cause of the automatic sprinklers who knows where all the lines are and so another reason he built it is because we have Gophers in our yard we could have just one but not too sure on that either we've also seen it in the front yard. I wonder how much we really have probably a whole gopher village under our house and yard we do have holes everywhere!!

Phoenix Is Hot!!!

I can't believe How hot it's getting here already. I don't like it. Has not been to bad but getting there.This time of year we usually see all the monsoon rains and winds that I Love!! I love Rain.I miss Rain.
I should go back to Texas for the Summer I could definitely go for that I love Thunder Storms.

Reading Books/ EBooks

For Some reason I just Seem to Read Too many books at one time but i do eventually finish them all how many other people do that? I know i'm not the only one my mom does not do that.
and i've always done that.

I recently started reading E-Books that I have downloaded From my local library which is way Cool I just love that.

I have been only downloading bundles that are like 3-10 books in 1 download. I know that i should stop doing that though i've got about 100 Actual books i need to read!!!!!!
